The surgery has been transformed with one aim in mind: to provide your pet with first class veterinary care
Twickenham Veterinary Surgery first opened in September 2002, as a branch surgery of P.G. Andre in Richmond. In December 2003, Christabel Moseley was made the manager and proceeded to run the surgery for the following years, until she bought it from Mr Andre in early 2008.
In June 2007 a new premises became available three doors down from the existing practice at 64 Hampton Road.
The new premises afforded much more space and in November 2007, after a lengthy application process, planning permission was granted to convert the new premises into a veterinary surgery.
The lease was finally signed in March 2008, when the mammoth project of converting the building into a veterinary surgery began. With the help of a great team, the whole building was transformed into a fresh and modern veterinary surgery, full of fantastic facilities.
The new surgery opened its doors on the 4th August 2008. Since then we have continued to provide the lovely pets of Twickenham and beyond with first class veterinary care.
The surgery is run by Christabel and her husband Kevin Franklin, who is the Accounts Manager. Both Christabel and Kevin believe that all pets should be entitled to a local, friendly veterinary service with outstanding care and customer service.
In September 2008, Wendy Stickells joined the surgery as a veterinary surgeon having worked at the RSPCA in Putney, for the previous ten years. Emma Littler was the next vet to join and in April 2016 Adam Bradley completed our team. We also have a part time vet, Helena, who helps us out, when we are busiest on Mondays. Emma works Thursdays and Fridays, to allow Wendy and Adam to have a day off.
All of our vets are fantastic to work with and share Christabel’s philosophy that the animals come first.
We are incredibly lucky to have a fantastic team of veterinary nursing staff, led by our Head nurse, Sarah Procter. Their dedication and compassion provide your pets with outstanding care.
